Dallas finally got to meet her first family member, besides us. For the past week, my mom has been visiting El Paso. She loved getting to spend time with her grandbaby :)
She even brought Dallas a couple cute new outfits :)
She got here on Sunday around noon. Since the boys had Monday off work, we celebrated my birthday Sunday night. We had a delicious ice cream cake from Coldstone, and then went out to the bar, so my mom got her first chance to babysit! I'm not sure why, but Dallas gave her a hard time and refused to go to sleep until 1 am! And of course, she had to break her in by puking all over her! But my mom still enjoyed spending time with her, and we enjoyed a night out.
We didn't do a whole lot when she was here but it was still fun. We did go shopping twice and Dallas did really good both times! She must've known I was buying stuff for her, so she had to be good. The mall must have bored her though, because she was snoozing away ;)
Wednesday was my actual birthday! I woke up to a very happy baby that morning...
...which was a present in itself, after some of the rough days we've been having lately!
And when I had her on her stomach, out of the blue, she rolled over onto her back! It was awesome that my mom and I both got to see it! That night, we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Leo's for dinner. Yum! Dallas slept the whole time :)
On my mom's last night here, we went to Fuddruckers. Home of the BEST burgers around! Dallas slept through that too ;)
It was a good week though, nice to have some help and for Dallas to be able to meet her Nana.
Neither of them wanted to say goodbye at the airport!
See you again in 5 months! :)
